The children were very excited to find a little nook in our classroom filled with ballerinas, fairies, and dragons!
We always try to change and add new areas to the room to keep the children inspired because we consider the environment in our classroom as the “third teacher”.
Right away the girls began setting up the ballerinas a certain way and telling a story.
“All the fairies need to go to sleep because they had a long day.” -Ella
“They are laying in bed and need to be covered with a blanket.” (flower) -Ella
“They have a bedroom that is full of red!”-Devyn
“After their nap, they go swimming in the pool, they have 2 pools.” -Natalia
“The flowers are for them to jump in and splash.”-Devyn
After spending time in this area and creating stories, we think it would be a great idea to share our thoughts on paper and create a book for this area! Be on the lookout for that very soon! ;0)
