Each week at story time the children gather around and discuss different vegetables they like to eat. This helps us pick a recipe to go with for the week that involves that vegetable. This particular week we went with a BROCCOLI CHEESE CASSEROLE because Devyn told us how broccoli was her Favorite.
The children learned how to use a can opener and also took turns trying to identify and sound out measurements and words of ingredients so they could add it into the mix…
We are continuing to sound out words and putting them together..
The children all worked together taking turns and making sure the broccoli casserole was being mixed together properly.
Mixing it was fun along with seeing how the dish looked once it was all combined…
Adding LOTS of cheese was the best part because we sure do LOVE cheese!
This Casserole came out perfect and tasted great!
